stuff

I've got all sorts of blog posts half done at the moment.
In the meantime, the everydayness of these photos spoke to me:)

Bubble Boy & Bubble Girl outside one of my favourite bookshops Koorong.

Was shopping there picking up a copy of Living Crazy Love  as that's the next study we're doing with the home group/coffee fiends/sisterhood.

Our TV antennae blew off our roof and we keep forgetting to fix it.
Between iPads, computers etc I think we've got enough screens in our house to keep us well occupied.
After dinner though things tend to get a bit rowdy.
Last night we ended up doing a planking competition.
The night before JD and Mimi were seeing how many squats they could do with the other person on their back.
Mimi finally got some respect from JD for her dance fitness and strength.  You go girl!

Seriously, who needs TV when you've got your very own circus?

Mimi going to a Red and Black Masquerade 16th B'day party.
Her shoes are gorgeous.....cherry red, platform wedges.
She stands about 6 ft in them.
Happily this was a girls only party....phew.
I'm so not ready for the mixed variety.

This is what happens every afternoon at about 4pm.
I'll be doing the dance/cricket/library run and Bugsy, who has steadfastly refused to sleep in the middle of the day, will have a power nap for about 20 minutes which will then fuel him for the next five hours on hyperdrive. Grrr.

You can tell by my nonplussed expression how thrilled I am.

Which is why I'm juicing these things.
For energy.
And so I can feel virtuous.
It's not great tasting, but my body really does like it.
You should see my face when I'm drinking it!
Like I'm sucking a lemon.

Crazy kids that we are, Dave and I went wild last Saturday night at a rugby trivia night.
Woo-hoo!
I love me some trivia.
It's about the only time I get to put all that useless information I have accumulated to use.
What band performed the theme song to Buffy the Vampire Slayer? The Smiths.
Florence Nightingale was made famous during which war? The Crimean.

I can not begin to tell you how good this tastes.
It is filling, yummy and might just be the best thing ever to include spinach. {Except for maybe those spinach and feta triangle thingies which are to die for.  But they give me a chumbah whumbah behind, so we won't be going there sister.}

Don't know what I've done with my alignment today....it's all over the shop.  Nevermind, as long as it's not a metaphor for the rest of the day, I'll be happy.
